Tour at KLM Cargo
On November 20, interns were given the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at KLM Cargo. We started with an in-depth presentation, where we learned more about the various departments and the role KLM Cargo plays in global logistics and air freight. Afterwards, we were divided into groups for a guided tour of the facilities. During the tour, we saw firsthand how large volumes of cargo are received, sorted, loaded, and prepared daily for transport to destinations all over the world. From high-value goods to perishable products, everything passes through!
Throughout the tour, there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions, giving us a clear insight into both the operational processes and the career opportunities within KLM Cargo. Overall, it was an educational, impressive, and motivating experience that provided us with many new insights. Many thanks to all the colleagues at KLM Cargo for the warm welcome and for sharing their knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm with us!
